A Man's Way Professional Training with Dan Griffin, MA

Even though approximately 70 percent of the people that go through treatment

annually are men, the majority of professionals have not been trained to effectively

work with men. Furthermore, men and women experience, respond to, exhibit the

symptoms of, and recover from trauma differently. Therefore, the interventions

and treatment services we provide to men must also be different. Many treatment

professionals may be unintentionally re-traumatizing male participants, thereby

increasing their risk of failure in the program. This three-day professional development

workshop offers practical guidance and tools for professionals working with men in

navigating these challenging areas. Due to the material and experiential nature of this

training, enrollment is limited to 20.

Training Cost is $1000 per person, which includes  lodging at the Rio Retreat Center and transportation (specific shuttle times)  Wickenburg to/from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, all meals  and snacks from Friday lunch to Sunday lunch, training materials,  and  17 continuing education credits.
